These include bull riding, barrel racing, and mutton busting, where young cowboys and cowgirls take part in an action-packed competition. One of the event’s highlights is the MLK Jr. African American Heritage Rodeo, a crowd favorite celebrating the contributions of African Americans to rodeo history. On January 12, 2025, the Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza will also take center stage, offering a unique cultural experience with Mexican-style bull riding, bareback riding, trick roping, and Mariachi music.
